Country Cottage Preschool Staff
Brianna Ash
OWNER/DIRECTOR
Hi, I’m Brianna and welcome to Country Cottage Preschool! It is my goal to provide a secure, structured, loving, and nurturing learning environment to children and families in our community. It has been my dream to someday have a preschool no matter how big or small where our program families feel close knit and supported. I was born and raised in San Luis Obispo where I attended preschool through college. At a young age I fell in love working with children and decided it was the career path for me! I received my A.A. in Early Childhood Education at Cuesta College and my B.A. in Early Childhood Education at Brandman University. My husband and I live in Atascadero with our two little ones and our black lab, Moe! I love spending time with family, friends, going on walks, and going on trips! I am so very thankful for every family that walks through our doors and look forward to meeting you and your little one!
Teacher Kimberly

Hi CCP Families! I’m Kimberly, originally from Santa Barbara and currently living in Lompoc. I have a house full of different animals. My fur babies are my everything. On my free time I love spending time with my fur babies, road trips, going to amusement parks, concerts, going to the beach and spending time with my family and friends. I’ve been working at this awesome school since 2018! I’ve been working with kiddos for 9 years. I’ve always loved the imagination all children have and how much love and kindness they have for everyone around them. I learn from them each day and they always teach me how to not sweat the small stuff. I’m looking forward to spending the next couple of your child’s years learning and growing alongside with your family!

Teacher Gladys
REDWOODS CLASSROOM
Hi, I’m Gladys! I graduated from CSU Channel Islands with a Spanish major in 2022. That same year, I started working at Country Cottage Preschool to be able to be part of the education of little ones. Close to the end of the school year I took a few months off to welcome by own baby girl. I am super excited to be back in the classroom! In my free time I love to travel with my family, go to the beach, and go camping. I always love being able to help others achieve their goals and I’m happy to guide and help all the students at CCP!
Teacher Kelly
LEAD TEACHER REDWOODS CLASSROOM
Hello, my name is Kelly Carroll! I graduated in 2020 with a focus in art from a school up in Sacramento. I love reading, drawing and exploring the beauty that nature has to offer. I’ve been at Country Cottage for 4 years and it has been a great experience; as well as a joy to be a part of the CCP family! Seeing these littles grow and becoming their very own person will never get tiring. To the shyest little one coming out of their shell to talk during circle time. To the grumpiest one shinning with the brightest smile. I love working with children because of the way they see the world through curious and creative lenses. I wish to help them grow in their creative thinking and approach to the world around them. Helping them grow their creativity and understanding of the world; so, that they can become part of what makes the this world beautiful.

PROGRAM FLOATER
Hi there, I’m Natalia. I am a third year Liberal Studies major at Cal Poly. Before going to Cal Poly I completed my associate’s degree in social and behavioral sciences at Allan Hancock College which was a pivotal moment for me. It solidified my passion for understanding human behavior and deepened my interest in working with children. During my time there, I had the incredible opportunity to work at the children’s center, which gave me hands-on experience in early childhood education. I learned so much about child development, communication, and the importance of creating a supportive, nurturing environment for young minds to thrive. Now, I am eager to be pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies. This next step will allow me to broaden my knowledge and skills, preparing me for a future career in education. I am very excited to start my new journey at Country Cottage Preschool and to have the opportunity to create a bond with your child by helping them learn and grow!
